About Us

The first Dovit products were made in 1971. At the beginning the forebear of our company was concerned to produce feed flavors and animal nutrition products. Two years later the first Dovit fishing bait was borned, and its best known name was „red box Dovit”. We have been started to produce bait blends with the classic flavour palette (anise, vanilla, honey) by the early 80s.

Dovit Ltd. have been founded in 1991. Our company followed the main profile of its ancestor: producing food for hobby and for farmed animals. Besides this we started to offer splice, weld & locksmith works. Currently our company has 3 main profiles:

Angling
We have been made important developments in our angling profile. Based on our almost 40 years of traditions and experience we have been started to develope Dovit angling products. And according to the needs of the market we have been started to make new product and product lines. Out current target for the next few years is to return Dovit brand name to the leading Hungarian fishing bait producers, and also to make a name for ourselves abroad.

Animal Feed
Though our animal feed offer has been changed since 1971, but the two main lines have been remained. Accordingly on the one part we would like to ease and speed up pork growing and fattening with our feed flavors. On the other hand we would like to complement the imperfections of the finished feeds of the market with our animal nutrition products. Our Kondifix-Mineral product is on a high place between the mineral complementaries used by the domestic pigeon-fanciers.

Welding
We only have been dealt with animal feeding until 1992, but after this year we have been taken in autogenous method services. Within this subject we still undertake professional repair, renew and the required safety technology verifying (by the 8th section of 143/2004. (XII. 22.) GKM regulation) of all kind of gas welding machines currently running in Hungary. We are also undertake to produce and get hold of the reserve components of these machines. According to our extensive network of business partners we also can grant special needs by a favourable price and within a short deadline.

In 1995 we have been started to produce lamp bodies with soft and hard soldering technology by lease work. Thanks to this we also have been experienced this field. Due to our flexible organization of productions we can economically make smaller metal constructions even by a few number of pieces.

A significant part of our employees have been working for us for more years, so they know the needs of our clients, the technological specifications and requirements well. We constitute regurarly the persons responsible for each subfield, furthermore the workers on gas welding field.

We have all licences that we need for working and producing by all areas. We have been took in HACCP system by the area of forages and angling products since January, 2006.
